SCAN NEEDS TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS WITH ANY OF THE FOLLOWING;
obstructed pavements - either by
badly parked vehicles,
overhanging trees, or
traders displaying their goods on the public highway or display - 'A' - boards
because more dropped kerbs are needed
in accessing a building or services
or with any other access issue.

So that we can further improve access to facilities and services for all members of our community in Spelthorne.

SCAN has joined an increasing number of local groups such as Staines Shopmobility and Spelthorne MS Society who have registered with the Easy Fundraising web site. Support SCAN for free when shopping online with over 500 popular retailers, including Amazon, M&S, John Lewis, Debenhams, HMV, Woolworths and many more. PROPOSED MEETINGS FOR SCAN AND SPELTHORNE PHYSICAL AND SENSORY DISABILITY FORUM 2008
We now hold four meetings a year on Wednesday afternoons, from 12 pm in the Goddard Room - one of Spelthorne Borough Council's committee rooms on the 2nd floor of the Council Offices at Knowle Green, Staines. Meetings are scheduled for

We hold our Annual General Meetings each year in July when we try to organise a guest speaker who can give a presentation on issues affecting people with disabilities. The 2008 AGM is scheduled for Wednesday 8th July at the above venue. Guest Speaker has still to be decided and to be announced nearer the date.
