Access Guide to STAINES

The following forward to the Guide has been written by The Worshipful Mayor of Spelthorne for 2004/2005, Councilor George F Trussler.
‘Over the last couple of years SCAN have been working hard to produce this guide, which we hope will go some way to fulfilling
the needs of people with disabilities, to help them to become fully inclusive members of the community, and to highlight areas
where guidance and help can be obtained.
We are all members of the Spelthorne Community and together we must work to make sure that this is a Safer Community, a Community where everyone is valued and respected.
I am sure this guide will be given to all who find themselves affected in some way with a disability, and that it will enable
them to get around under their own steam, and give them their own independence and freedom.'
